Compu-SOLVE's doors are closed, however we continue to operate in support of our clients, and like many of them we have transitioned to a primarily remote work force. We also continue to support our clients on-site in emergency situations, following the guidelines outlined by medical professionals to ensure our clients and team are as safe as possible.
We strongly encourage all remote workers to take the necessary steps and time required to be sure that you are operating from your location in a safe and healthy manner. A common mistake is to get up and running as quickly as possible without first implementing a plan. We must consider that during this crisis, "bad actors" are taking advantage while we are at our most vulnerable. Many industry leaders like Cisco and Microsoft are offering free or extended trial licenses to help you.
The continued spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Canada is understandably the primary focus of the news, our thoughts, and our conversations. The team at Compu-SOLVE wants to ensure you that the health and safety of our employees and clients is a top priority for us. It is important that we continue to provide our clients with the high level of service you have come to expect from Compu-SOLVE. We are aligning with proactive steps taken by other organizations as well as recommendations from many government and health authorities to ensure the safety and well-being of our employees and clients. We are developing contingency plans to ensure we continue to operate our business and deliver our services to you.
We are honoured to have been able to attend Community Living Huronia's Red Carpet Evening as a 'Silver Sponsor' on February 22nd, of which all funds raised were put towards CLH's initiatives for individuals with developmental support needs. The event gave our team the opportunity to dress to the nines for a champagne reception, live and silent auction, three-course meal, and performance by Colin James.
Our Holiday Helpers Campaign is now complete for our fourth, very successful year!
This year our chosen recipient was The Guesthouse Shelter, which provides food, shelter, and a safe, familial environment to those in need in North Simcoe. We are happy to announce that on December 20th we delivered two vehicles of backpacks stuffed to the brim with necessities and a suitcase filled with more essentials to the Guesthouse Shelter, as well as 3 boxes of food donations to our local food bank.
